FEES:

Individual therapy: $175 per 50 minute session.

Group therapy: $65 per group session.

Concerned about the cost of therapy? Good news!

I've partnered with Mentaya, a service that streamlines getting reimbursed for your therapy sessions through out-of-network benefits.

Mentaya is perfect if you:

• Have out of network benefits

• Feel overwhelmed by superbills and insurance

• Have submitted superbills but failed to get any reimbursement

• Simply want to skip the hassle of paperwork!

Here's how it works:

1. Sign up for Mentaya: mentaya.com/b/keelcounselingreimbursements

2. I will enter your sessions into the platform.

3. Mentaya submits the claim and handles any insurance follow-up.

4. You get reimbursed by insurance!

Mentaya charges a 5% fee per claim, which includes handling any paperwork required, dealing with denials, and calling insurance companies.

It's risk-free: They guarantee claims are successfully submitted, or a full refund of their fees.

Please note that you are not required to use this platform, it is simply a service I provide to help my clients navigate the hassle of negotiating with insurance companies for reimbursement.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Please bear in mind that when an appointment is set for you, the expectation is that you will prioritize your therapy on that date and time just as I have. Your agreement to participate in therapy implies that you are committed to your care and that cancellations and rescheduling will not be a regular occurrence. I understand that there will be circumstances that require you to cancel or reschedule from time to time. When this happens, please inform me as soon as possible and prior to the 24-hour cancelation window to avoid the late cancellation fee of $175.

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE:

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call the Colorado Division of Insurance at 303-894-7490 or 1-800-930-3745.If you have concerns about paying for treatment, please contact me to discuss potential options. I offer discounted rates for those who qualify and I am happy to provide referrals if necessary.
